In Istanbul, a formwork craftsman working on the 15th floor of a construction site was saved by a safety net mounted on the 14th floor.
Mehmet Biçim, a formwork craftsman working on a construction site in Esenyurt, Istanbul, lost his balance early in the morning on the 15th floor, falling onto a safety net mounted on the floor below and thus saving his life. His coworkers, who witnessed the incident, immediately called an ambulance and the fire department to rescue Mehmet Biçim from the safety net. After receiving minor injuries, Mehmet Biçim resumed work shortly after a brief check-up.
